Generally, it’s good to know where you’re going. We’ve asked authorities in areas critical to journo-tech success to tell us where they see things headed in a series of quick, hard-hitting presentations. Our speakers:
- Neil Budde, former Editor in Chief at Yahoo! News, will talk about what’s ahead in online news content
- Wally Dean, Online/Broadcast Director at the Committee of Concerned Journalists will talk about information quality and journalism standards and practice in an age of online media
- Jacob Kaplan-Moss, lead developer for the Lawrence Journal-World and the Django Web application framework, will talk about news production technology
- Ramesh Jain, Donald Bren Professor in Information & Computer Sciences, Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences, University of California, Irvine.
